Pertamina’s president director Karen Agustiawan told an Indonesian press Pertamina aims to lift crude production by 14% to 171,900 barrels per day this year, with the start up of SK 305 and other oilfields. Pertamina is also looking at raising production at its main oilfields, Sukowati, Tambun, Limau and Poleng. The Indonesian state player is seeking to increase its interest in the West Madura block, now operated by Kodeco. Pertamina owns 30% of SK 305, one of three areas jointly operated by PCPP, a joint venture with Petronas and PetroVietnam. SK 305 is located off Sarawak. Two other PCPP concessions are Randugunting in Indonesia and Block 10 and 11.1 in Vietnam, according to the report. -- don't try to teach pig how to sing.
