Rekan2 G&G, Chuck A. Caughey adalah Geologist Expat yang sangat peduli dengan kegiatan ilmiah dan cukup lama menjadi bagian dari IPA dan kegiatan G&G di Indonesia (IAGI dan HAGI). Selain itu, Beliaupun banyak membantu kegiatan Mahasiswa Indonesia dalam rangka kegiatan ilmiah (AAPG, IPA, IAGI dan HAGI) khususnya AAPG Student Chapter. Saya cukup lama bersama Beliau selama 12 tahun sejak di Asamera Oil (1992), Gulf Indonesia Resources dan ConocoPhillips (2004) turut merasakan kehilangan orang yang sangat Beliau cintai.
