Bagi yang ingin menggunakan, sebagai catatan, ada beberapa gambar penampang seismik - yang karena kerahasiaan maupun ketidaksengajaan - tidak ada skala vertikal maupun horizontal. Umumnya penampang seismik vertically exaggerated, jadi kemiringan (sesar, clinoform, etc) kalau hendak dipakai sebagai acuan/analog sebaiknya terlebih dahulu dikoreksi.
