Maluku Utara, Kota Ternate sbb: *Wkt Kjadian : Minggu, 04/12/11, Pkl. 23.00 WIT. *korban Jiwa : Nihil. *Kerugian materil: Nihil. *Kondisi Mutakhir: -Pda tgl. 5 Des pkl. 00.08 WIT tlh trjadi letusan yg diikuti semburan abu vulkanik. -Masyarakat mengungsi di Kantor Gubernur. Saat terjadi letusan hujan deras dan listrik mati sehingga abu jatuh bersama hujan. Saat ini sebagian sudah kembali ke rumahnya. Di masyarakat beredar isu status AWAS sehingga masyarakat panik. -PVMBG menetapkan hingga saat ini status masih SIAGA. Belum perlu dilakukan pengungsian. -BPBD Maluku Utara terus berkoordinasi dengan pihak2 terkait untuk melakukan antisipasi. -Kawasan Rawan Bencana G. Gamalama terdiri dari 3 Kawasan : -KRB III dlm radius 2,5 km dri Pusat erupsi, -KRB II dlm radius 2,5 km dri Pusat erupsi, -KRB I dlm radius 3,5 km dri Pusat erupsi, Sumber :BPBD Prov.
