Bukan Cuma dua professor Pak Ban, tapi buanyak buanget di seluruh dunia yang
menyatakan Atlantis itu tidak benar (khayalan). Tidak heran kalo dianggap
kerjaan pemimpi. Tapi sebelum dianggap mimpi sebaiknya dibaca dulu buku-nya
("Plato tidak bohong...") baru dibahas/di-comment/di-kritik dsb sehingga
menjadi bermanfaat dan menarik. Dijamin tidak membosankan dan akan banyak
"surprise" setelah membaca buku itu... hmm maaf jadi agak promosi nih J.
Iya benar, di berita kok jadi dari ITB ya. Kalo lulusan ITB sih memang iya

pada th 2010 waktu seminar internasional budaya Sunda di Bogor.
Setelaah membaca info baru ini, apa ada perubahan pendapat Prof?

The mythical island of Atlantis was in our neighbourhood, a veteran
Indonesian geologist claims in a controversial new book.
Dr Danny Hilman Natawidjaja of the Bandung Institute of Technology said the
description of the island by ancient Greek philosopher Plato perfectly fits
Indonesia when "Sundaland" existed.
Sundaland is the biogeographical region of South-east Asia which encompassed
the Sunda Shelf, the part of the Asian continental shelf that was exposed
during the last Ice Age. It included the Malay peninsula and the large
islands of Borneo, Java, Sumatra and their surroundings.
People have over the ages debated the possible existence of Atlantis. Some
claim it sank in the Atlantic Ocean or the Mediterranean. Others claim it
never existed at all.
