DSL May 2014 (Gas Exploration in the Netherlands)
Indonesia Association of Geologists in cooperation with TOTAL E&P Indonesie
cordially invite you to attend on a regular IAGI program "Distinguished
Lecturer Session (DLS)" in May 2014.
The programs are intended to broaden its geoscientists, PE and Reservoir
Engineers both in the extraction of natural resources, disaster mitigation
and conservation.
Although this is the event free of charge, IAGI requires its speakers have
to be experts in their field so that there will be transfer of knowledge.
A Distinguished Lecturer Session (DLS) will be held on:

DLS Title : *Gas Exploration in the Netherlands: “How geologists,
geophysicists and reservoir engineers work together” *
Lecturer : *Lo TEN HAVEN (**Geosciences Tutor of TOTAL E&P
INDONESIE)*
Lo Ten Haven was born in the Netherlands. He obtained a Bachelors and
Masters degree in Geochemistry at the University of Utrecht and a
Philosophers degree from the Utrecht and Delft University. He started his
career at the KFA institute for Oil and Organic geochemistry in Germany,
the joined IFP in France as research engineer at the geochemistry
department. During this period he published over 50 scientific papers in
reputable journals like Nature, and Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta. In
1991 he joined Total, first at the research laboratory, and then he moved
to the subsurface department, followed by a database revamping project in
Balikpapan, and then he was appointed vice-head of geosciences support
department in France. Prior to his current position as Geosciences Tutor
in Balikpapan, he was for six years Geosciences Manager at the Dutch
subsidiary of Total. Since 2012 he is responsible for recruitment, training
and career development of geoscientists in Total E&P Indonesie.
