techniques used in modern pressure transient analysis. Subsequently to
outlining transient testing objectives and general methodologies, the
course briefly gives an outline of theoretical aspects, primarily to show

testing covers traditional and type curve analysis, infinite and bounded
reservoirs. Gas well testing and associated multi-rate testing and analysis
shows how to determine non-Darcy effects. The final course topic, well test
design, covers both, equipment and program design.
