Penyakit Jopie disebut komplikasi. Mungkin jantung tetapi dapat komplikasi dengan gagal ginjal. Sebelumnya sehat-sehat saja. Keluarga shock dan tidak menduga begitu cepat. Jopie saya kenal cukup dekat darivsejak mahasiswa.Dia geologi angk 1969 dan banyak bergaul dengan saya , malahan beberapa kali sayacberkunjung kerumahnya di.gg deme ( sekitarl jl gatsu. Salah satu saudara kandungnya adalah alumni amn. Beberapa kenangan al pada saat alm.menjadi asisten geokimia , waktu itu saya sudah tahu bahwa Jopie adalah.mahasiswa yg cerdas dan keras hati, walaupun dia sangat sedikit bicara. Terakhir ketemu dia sedang bergerak disatun tool geofisika yg dapat dipakai dalam eksplorasi panas bumi.Bekerja sama dgn sdr. Sayogi salahbsatu tokoh geothermal Indonesia. Sayangnya , kemudian hubungan terputus , semoga keluarga yg ditinggalkan tabah menerima takdir ini .
