For additional information, please refer to http://www.pi.ac.ae/PI_ACA/ pge/index.php. *Brief Posting Description:* The Petroleum Geosciences Department at The Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi is seeking to hire a highly qualified post-doctoral researcher to work on a research project entitled ‘Enhancement of Fracture Characterization by Innovative Geophysical Data Processing and Integration in Carbonate Reservoirs’. This is a 3-year project funded by the ADNOC’s Oil Sub-Committee. *Detailed Description:* The successful candidate will be part of a team to establish framework for obtaining information about fracture parameters using seismic response over a broad frequency range. The candidate will be expected to play a leading role in fracture characterization from 3D surface seismic data in a number of Abu Dhabi oilfields. Qualifications *Job Requirements:* Qualification: Minimum Ph.D. in geophysics or closely related field The candidate must have expertise in seismic reflection interpretation, characterization and modelling. A good research publication track record is required. *Additional Details:* Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, with an excellent benefits package, including housing and furniture allowance, educational allowance for dependent children, annual airfare allowance, and medical care.
