Well, my db2 experience is limited to db2 on an as/400 (or iSeries as
IBM is trying to rebrand it now), and not to rain on your project, but
to be completely honest, I hate it.

In all fairness to db2, I suspect that my loathing of it stems from
the alien nature of the os/400 platform, and the bizzaro configuration
that our sysadmin inflicts upon us. ;-)

I have used PostgreSQL (win32 and linux), M$SQL, and Oracle (on win32,
linux, and even netware)...and would take any of those (well, except
for oracle on netware - that really sucked) over my current
configuration.
