In an attempt to get a serious ADSM client loop debugged (IBM level2 is incapable of even recognizing the loop in my sadump - much less analyzing it) I am attempting to amblist their main module (called dsmc) which resides in an HFS. - I have even persuaded amblist to actually access the HFS, but I consistently get msgIEW2509S 3602 MODULE *NULL* IDENTIFIED BY DDNAME DD1 IS AN UNSUPPORTED VERSION AND CANNOT BE PROCESSED. (We basically get the same error when attempting to re-bind.) - Since that message tells me that this thing was bound with a higher release (and amblist/the binder refuses to tell me anything), how am I supposed to get basic debugging information? We even attempted the unix "NM" command, which got "no symbols found" or some such thing.
