In so many words, no it doesn't say. The programmer (or is it
only the sysadmin?) has the ability to take any desired action
on oversize PARMs (is this as simple as putting the customized
IGZEPSX in STEPLIB?) But it doesn't say what the default
behavior is if not customized.
I find more in:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/igymg202/APPENDIX1.4.8
... including a mention of changes from VS COBOL II to LE COBOL, but
no specific mention of oversize PARM.
Likewise not in:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/ceea5140/3.5
Nor:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/ceea2140/APPENDIX1.4.2
... but thanks for putting me on track of a good search keyword.
