The IBM-MAIN archives are updated within a minute or two which is the only
way to go in my opinion.

For time-efficiency reasons, my IBM-MAIN subscription is set to SET MAIL
OFF, and I have a desktop shortcut that launches a new browser window with
the URL string below, generating a month-to-date list of posts sorted with
the most current first. Unfortunately, I have to update the URL string once
monthly to change the yymm string.

Are the archives near-real-time? If so, what is the normal delay? I
might go to SET MAIL OFF and use them. This is due to a new company

It's sort of a kludge, it goes to the archives before it goes to
the Win$ distribution server.
