The IBM-MAIN archives are updated within a minute or two which is the only way to go in my opinion.
For time-efficiency reasons, my IBM-MAIN subscription is set to SET MAIL OFF, and I have a desktop shortcut that launches a new browser window with the URL string below, generating a month-to-date list of posts sorted with the most current first.
