Hello list, When we thinking about the reliability of a tape drive technology, vendors may say how many MTBF is, how customer experience this? For tape drivers used today(3590 any model,3592 J1A,9840,etc), how long will you ever use it to work? For example,12 hours to backup/restore without any errors occurr. I'd like to hear your response. Is this figure enough to let us think if a tape drive is reliable and an enterprise class product?
