We've talked to IBM and as Ed Gould said, they suspect that an OEM vendor has indeed overlaid the UCB. IBM has supplied us with a "sniffer" program to monitor the UCB's and dump when a change occurs. IBM also pointed us to the II13210 APAR which we had already looked at and Bruce Black referred to. A few vendors were mentioned as the possible offenders, but without proof, there is no sense in naming them. Thanks for the replies.
