Out of curriosity, what would be the point? You have to have VTAM up
either way and you already have your inter-LPAR communications in
place(CTCs?). Aren't you just creating work for yourself and the
operating system? Convert SNA to IP, run it over your ethernet or
hypersocket connection, and convert it back to SNA on the other side.
Now, if you wanted to free up the Escon channels for something else, I
would understand.
