Why not use the SDSF block delete on the panels. Use the //P on the first job and // on the last job. SDSF will generate all the jes2 delete commands for you

Slisz Sent: Friday, June 24, 2005 10:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: sdsf block delete Our JES2 Job queue was filled up this morning by a runaway job that created (383 jobs) and submitted the same job over and over. My problem is that we manually purged over 5,000 jobs. We looked in the MVS System commands manual and couldn't find the syntax for some sort of BLOCK DELETE command. Can anyone help us ? Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
