AFAIK, you can't DETACH the SYSRES volume from CP. But you normally don't need to. It is comprised of mostly mini-disks to which MAINT should already be LINKed. Issue 'Q V DASD' to see how many LINKs MAINT already has to 510RES. Other (non-SYSRES) volumes can be accessed via 'DETACH xxxxxx SYSTEM' followed by 'ATT ccuu *'
