Hi,
Thruput Manager v6.1 the very latest issue from MVS Solutions came with a
bug that allocated user key common storage.
At initial installation Thruput Manager v6.1 PTF LEVEL TMT6101 we found a
bug which places a copy of all the JAL & DAL source in user key common
storage. Further this bug causes this copy to be orphaned every time a JAL
or DAL REFRESH command is used and a new copy obtained again in user key
common storage. For me this was roughly 96K total small enough as to not be
an operational concern with our rather large ECSA allocations. It was untidy
especially combined with an unintended or poorly chosen storage key.
To their credit this had already discovered internally and resolved in PTF
level TMT6102 at the time I reported it. I believe the vendor has taken the
right steps so this will never happen again. MVS Solutions has always been
very responsive to requests for assistance or reports of defects.
