I might interject a few questions:
1) can the OS undersideration use this "maximal" 3390?
E.g. z/OS, z/VM, z/VSE, Linux on zSeries
2) what type of applications under that OS can use this maximal 3390?
E.g. VSAM EA only, DB2 only, JES2 spool, PS, PS-E, PDS, PDSE?
