The way I implemented this was to have the programmer put into the
accounting field on the jobcard a estimated line count. Then in the
exit I took the info and inserted it in the estimated linect (for the
job).
In the jes parms I used the estlnct with opt=1.
At first programmers mumbled about guessing. But when I told them the
lower the line count the higher priority the job had in the input q
they bought into it (for the most part).
