Or to put it in the vernacular - don't fsck with SMP.
Long experience dictates - from both (I suspect) Tom and I.

Play around with any problem libraries (may well happen again), and if it
all goes to hell, throw away the SMP environment, and recopy it from a known
good, or more simply, throw away the entire test environment, and re-clone
it.
If you don't have the procedures in place to allow this to be done simply, I
suggest you implement some.

As well as reallocating the library(s), it is possible to simply increase
the directory blocks as a "quick fix". The PDS command off the CBT will do
this successfully.
