Thanks! I'll definately read that. Unfortunately, WSED (or whatever it
may be called) is quite costly (in "absolute" terms). This shop is
simply NOT, repeat NOT going to spend the money. Although said somewhat
in jest, when the programmers complained that a product was being
replaced with a less expensive, less capable product, they were told:"
Make up your mind. Keep the current product and have us fire sufficient
programmers to make up the budget difference. Or keep the current staff
and use this other product." They chose to keep their jobs. Remember
"the mainframe is dying" is the motto around here. I won't say more, I'm
likely to get in trouble.
