Certainly the socket connection is a common protocol but using a port number 
other than 515. The required port number can be found in the printer manual. 
For defining a lpr printer you need only the ip and a printer queue name.
You mean the dataset allocated in JES OUTPUT Queue, whose status can normally 
be viewed in JES only.

   From you exprience,Direct socket connecttion is not a common protocol
that IP Printer support?Or what is the easy way to config a command ip
printer lpr or direct socket connecttion
   The other question is in basic mode,why I cannot find dataset status
from the PrinterWay queue?
