Watch out! I'm putting on my "sysprog hat" again ... :-)
I happened to notice in the HCD manual that dynamic PAV aliases are
supposed to show up as 3390P. At least that's how I interpreted the
statement made here:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/iea2g850/2.9.5
My PAV aliases always appear as 3390A. Both base and alias device
definitions specify WLMPAV=YES.
Is the book wrong? Did I misinterpret it? Is something wrong with my
configuration? Is there a bug in HCD?
Does anyone else see 3390P and/or see 3390A for (what are supposed to
be) dynamic PAVs?
