Ted,
I agree that this is a perfectly sound option in a system that has little to
no paging.  However, the point that Ron is making (and I agree with) is that
for those systems that are memory constrained, and, as such incur paging,
that having a PLPA page-in blocked by common paging operations, particulary
page-out operations, could have an impact on system performance.  Again, on
non memory constrained systems, this isn't a major issue.
