No, you wouldn't. At least not in the context that Timothy was writing about. 
He said it was 53 or 54 *IFLs*, not general purpose CPs. That tells me that he 
is not running z/OS and the software cost curve on IFLs at less than 1% of 
total capacity would be negligible.

As he said, he can still spawn a lot of Linux images on half an IFL that was 
the 54th on the box!. 

However, in the context you are thinking about relative to z/OS, I would be 
inclined to agree with you. <grin>

Yes, I will.
Since (for example), the difference between what makes sense on a 32-way and
