Hello Ottar, I have a similar problem here.
With "D SMS,LIBRARY(lib),DETAIL" I get 284 scratch tapes. ISMF "MOUNTABLE TAPE VOLUME LIST" counts 250 but "TAPE LIBRARY LIST" says there are 284 scratch tapes. The library manager counts 250 scratch tape in his scratch categorie. I'm rather sure that 250 is the right count. Do you have found a way to fix your problem?
