No, reread the thread. Thomas Ramseier's question was in response to my
statement above - where I was responding to Jim Kyriakakis, who said
(more or less) "our product does that".

The answer to Thomas' question is "yes, of course", but that's not what
was originally asked. Charles Mills simply wanted to know "how can I get
the name of the dataset used by LOAD?" 

I presumed from the context of his question that he meant "using
existing data lying around in memory". And in fact that's exactly what
he meant. Given those constraints, the answer is as I said in the first
place "it depends". Sometimes you can. In general, you can't guarantee
it. There are cases where it's just not possible.
