Gilbert - You're not too late to the party at all. Thanks!
After 17 people told me it was impossible, there's the code in SHOWMVS, clear as a bell. Yes, there may be some limitations, but as I said, this is a feature, not a raison d'ĂȘtre. If de-allocating the load library breaks the feature, well then, I guess you shouldn't de-allocate the load library if you want to use the feature. Sorry if I come to late for this to be useful, but did you check how ShowMVS and SYSDEBUG do it using the CDX (CDE eXtension) and/or the DATA option of CSVQUERY? This is not documented, can in specific situations give you "stale" info, but has worked unchanged since the CSV rewrite in MVS/ESA 4.3. I rely on it a lot for my own debugging. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
