You're right, Radoslaw - I was a bit unclear.  Chronologically in the sense
of when the data sets were cut.

For most instances, though, the records would be in ascending chronological
order when read with GDGCOPY - such as with SMF unloads.

Record #1 - -3
Record #2 - -3
...
Record #n - -3
Record #1 - -2
Record #2 - -2

Etc...

I asked because it's quite common mistake: "how can I place GDG members in opposite direction" while one really wanted chronological order of records.
IMHO good job candidate for DFSORT.
