Many years ago (and far away) before Panvalet was purchased by CA, there was a product that I was at a shop that used called "PANEXEC" (as I recall). This product worked with their Panvalet product to create "generations" of object code (in a "condensed" library format) that was "auto-magically" synchronized with the source code level. I was wondering if any shops use any software that does this today? (I certainly haven't heard of that product for well over a decade). It always struck me as a good idea, but I do understand that there are other "change management" products and policies aimed at solving the "same problem". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
