z/OS.e is much cheaper than z/OS.  It does not require adifferent build,
though.  You can IPL z/OS and z/OS.e in the same sysplex from the same IPL
volume.

In order to IPL z/OS.e, you must (IIRC):
1. update IFAPRDxx
2. use an LPAR name of ZOSExxxx
3. run on a z800 or z890
