Hi, All,

Got a frustrating puzzle here: An ISV product with an ISPF interface was
installed into libraries shared between two LPARs on different physical CPUs
(both G5 machines). One LPAR was at z/OS 1.4, the other at z/OS 1.5. The
product installed and functioned correctly on both LPARs.

Now the (formerly) z/OS 1.4 LPAR is running z/OS 1.5; a significant change,
to be sure, but AFAICT nothing concerning this product was changed on that
image: It still runs from the same physical libraries, the load module
requiring APF authorization is in fact APF authorized (it is that module to
which the error is attributed), entries for it exist in both AUTHPGM and
AUTHTSR of IKJTSO00, and both z/OS 1.5 images are at the same maint. level.
The IKJEFTSR doc states that RSN 40 (decimal) is "Requested function
(program, command, CLIST or REXX exec) was not found", but there is no clue
as to what it was looking for that it couldn't find. I "ass.u.me" that the
RSN 40 is decimal because the RC 20 "obviously" is decimal (the highest hex
RC in the doc is x'1C').

Can anybody suggest any ideas how to decipher what it can't find, before I
go thru the installation again?

TIA,

    -jc-
