Subject: storage key question

I am not an experienced systems programmer. So I do not readily know the
answer to my question.

I am hoping that some experienced person might know this off the top of
their head. And if not, then perhaps they can point me to the right manual.
Either works.

I've searched many a diagnosis, authorised asm guide, and pops, but have not
found an answer to my question.

I generally know what storage keys 0, 8, and 9 are for. There is enough
documentation to sink a ship on these items.

The storage keys 1 thru 7 are a mystery to me.

I seem to have it in my head that these keys are related to specific MVS
subsystems. I cannot recall where I got that idea.

Can someone tell me what keys 1 thru 7 are used by and for?

Can someone point me to the proper manual (zOS 1.6 system) that holds this
information so that I might learn from it?

Your help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Mark Vollmer
