JES2 and JES3 were strictly MVS; OS/360 and OS/VS2 R1 (SVS) used
native SPOOL support and, optionally, ASP or Half-ASP. OS/VS1 came
with JES1, normally just called JES, which was integrated with the
remains of the OS/360 SPOOL support.
