Bob, Closing/Opening a bunch of files on CICS Region that has been relatively dormant all night will bring this on. Some one else mentioned the Monday Morning affect, and this is part of it - but every morning.
The Page-outs probably go unnoticed because they are spread over a longer period of time, or after the first page-out they are unchanged pages and move through a bit flick.
