Greetings,
I came across this while trying to expand a /var linear file.

crwxrwxrwx 1 BPXDFLTU BPXDFLTG 6, 0 Jan 14 2009 CEAServer*

Since DSS likes to restore at the defined size, I defined a new
VAR linear file and mounted it and copied all the entries from /var.
This character special file won't copy.

I don't know what this is for other than Common Event Adapter. I
searched the archives and find a couple references to the process,
but not this file nor how to manage it. If I just leave it out of
the new /var, will the process regenerate it ???

Thanks,
    Dave K.
