I've used the same ID on multiple systems for years. I even wrote a REXX EXEC to help with the creation of separate ISPPROF datasets for ISPF -- it's on the CBT tape somewhere. Yes, there is a tendency to drift; so what? >Our TSO users did not like it because notifications inevitably ended up on the >wrong system where that userid was also logged on, but not currently working. There is a solution to that. Log on to the system that you are going to be most likely to use, first. I like the convenience of just having the one ID, so I've learned to live with the nagging little nits. Also, I believe it's more secure; I don't like giving out multiple ID's. But, there's nothing forcing people to sign on to multiple systems. So, if they complain, tell them that. - Too busy driving to stop for gas! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
