I've used the same ID on multiple systems for years. I even wrote a REXX EXEC 
to help with the creation of separate ISPPROF datasets for ISPF -- it's on the 
CBT tape somewhere.
Yes, there is a tendency to drift; so what?

There is a solution to that.
Log on to the system that you are going to be most likely to use, first.

I like the convenience of just having the one ID, so I've learned to live with 
the nagging little nits.
Also, I believe it's more secure; I don't like giving out multiple ID's.

But, there's nothing forcing people to sign on to multiple systems.
So, if they complain, tell them that.
