We were charter bitnet in 1986 after a few nodes were hooked
to ARPAnet. Guess it all went to hell when they allowed the
'business' in. We tracked it for many months and were finally asked
to stop publishing the 'hits'. Pornography was/is major internet
trafficker, then came napster and grokster and some of the file
sharers.
