Nobody was expecting to run into any SMF records with dates earlier than 1968, nor have an OS/VS system IPLed with a current date in the 19th century (which was, of course, impossible, since the TOD epoch had been defined to be 1900). Folks with problems like that already had their own solution; they were unconcerned with the representation of [MVS] system dates in SMF and RMF records, and the like. -- WB ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
