You have a larger private are above than we do. Here is the WTO
from our IEFUSI exit:
IEFUSI-001I REGION SIZE BELOW: 9664K ABOVE: 1524M
Here is the WAS WTO:
+BBOO0302I REGION REQUESTED = 0K 860
ACTUAL BELOW/ABOVE LINE LIMIT = 9M / 1524M
ABOVE BAR FREE/ALLOC ADDR = 0 / 0
(Note to self: Check into lowering ECSA to increase extended private
.... high ECSA is old history from WAS V4 problems)

AFAIK, was 5.1 does not exploit 64-bit virtual in any way in itself.
We are using JAVA 1.4.2, but not the 64-bit flavor (at least not yet).
The only 64-bit usage we have AFAIK is DB2 V8.
To be honest, I don't know much about this. I don't even know if you
can run 64-bit java with WAS 5.1. We have a WAS team and several people
in our performance area that really pay close attention to this stuff.
Gary Puchkoff used to lurk, perhaps he or someone else more in tune
with WAS-land can shed more light on this subject.
Cheers,
Mark
