In fact, we use a generic logon REXX that looks to see if the user has a

want to.
Have I a skewed view? Our LOGON proc drops us at the TSO READY prompt,
but with the ISPF libraries allocated. There I can simply type ISPF,
or I can run an EXEC that wraps ISPF. I could put either in the
command field of the LOGON panel.

Shops set this up in many different ways. I know of a
couple of shops where TSO logon puts the user right
into ISPF and =x logs them off: no chance to get to
READY prompt!
