OK, probably a dumb question but here goes anyway. We have z/OS MVS using code page 037 and z/OS UNIX using codepage 1047. I just came across an issue at our site where we are using MQSeries (excuse me, WebSphere MQ) to ship data to *nix machines. This issue is that MQSeries is using by default codepage 500. Why on earth did IBM decide to throw a third codepage into the mix? AARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!
