My apologies to everyone for this; I was testing a problem(*) in my
news/mail client and created a test reply to the OP's question. I
forgot to remove it from the outgoing queue of mails/posts on my system.

* until now I've read this traffic in the newsgroup. I turned on the
emails from the listserv, instead, yesterday. Although my software
recognises those incoming mails as mail-list ones, when I try to reply,
it (I think) sees the "Newsgroup: bit.listserv.ibm-main" inside the
headers of the email item I'm replying to, and tried to send the reply
as a news post. I was fiddling with that and looking at what was
generated here for different types of reply.
