John, JRIO has not been enhanced in a very long time. The old IBM record framework originated in VisualAge, and now there are tools to build them in RDz. I'm curious to hear specifically what you find confusing with the JZOS RecordGenerator code. It is significantly simpler and faster than the old record framework, which is why we wrote it. Please compare the code and performance of the two and I'm sure you will agree, but any suggestions that you have for improvment would be appreciated.
