I wouldn't mind looking back at the "good old days", but only for
hysterical purposes. SIO/TIO/HIO are NOT areas I would care to revisit
for any productive purpose. :-)
That was the progressive new era; the "good old days[1]" involved punched
cards, plug boards and vacuum tubes[2].
[1] For me; I've seen a couple of posters who go back further.

I only used FORTRAN or RPG on the 1620 and the 7030, so I don't count
those days. :-)
