I am currently analyzing SMF type 70, subtype 1 records. Manually, I know
that there are tools like SAS, but this is not the question.
I intend to sum up CPU_DISPATCH_SEC and COMPLEX_SEC by LPAR and
processor type. These are the names used by TDS (Tivoli Decision Support) in
the table MVSPM_LPAR_H which is nothing else than SMF type 70 records.

In the documentation at http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-
bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/DRL5FT12/8.4.5.4?SHELF=DRL5SH21 I can read
that CPU_DISPATCH_SEC is nothing else than SMF70PDT. Fine so far, but
what is COMPLEX_SEC? The descrition in the manual mentioned above
says: 'Total processor complex time, in seconds. Processors CP and ICF are
considered separately.'

Does anybody have an idea on how I can calculate COMPLEX_SEC?

Daniel
