Hi List,

Being an MQ novice (OK, blatantly clueless about it) I have what could
be a rather simple question on it. MQ was set up here by a contractor
so I really don't know much about the setup. I can get queue names and
so on.

I am migrating from z/OS 1.7 to 1.10, and part of this is upgrading from
MQ 5.3 to 6.0. Anyway, I flashcopied my entire 1.7 production system to
my sandbox LPAR in order to IPL 1.10 on the sandbox for testing. I
currently have 1.10 running on the sandbox with MQ down. My question is
how do I make sure the queues are clear on the sandbox before I bring up
MQ for testing? If I find that a queue or queues have data in them, how
do I clear them out - all with MQ down?

TIA

Rex
