Hi,

In a recent post it was asked:

"How or where is that "operator is requested to authorize" controlled? I
searched the Unlicensed bookshelf on the obvious keywords and didn't find
anything.

I'd particularly like a console command to turn off the authorization function
temporarily so that a number of commands could be entered via the input stream
without operator intervention for each command."

Assuming JES2 operation, it is described in the JES2 Initialisation and Tuning
Manual. It can be controlled generically under JOBCLASS(*) or for each Job
Class via JOBCLASS(A), JOBCLASS(B) etc. I have it turned off for all except one
special JOBCLASS.

When reviewing don't forget to check the setting under JOBCLASS(STC) and
JOBCLASS(TSU).

KInd regards - Terry
